Calling all ice cream tasters
How can I get messages to show full headers in Vista? I can get the source
details by using the properties option under file, but it won't print out.
TIA

That's a news server, not a message client. Are you sure you aren't Sheel?
Meerkats are surprised that the Hedghog did not look in the headers of
your post to see that your email/news client is apparently something
called "Microsoft Windows Mail 6.0.6001.18000".
What's that? Is is a sort of Son-Of-Outlook-Express?

Heglog was inna nurry and didn't think about it. Heglogs are glad that
meerkats was surprised by this uncharacteristic action, and are more
inclined to forgive meerkats for the whole what-size-resolution palaver.

Yus. Unfortunately I don't know anyone who uses it. However, Kathy
should apparently try pressing Ctrl and F3 keys together when she is in
the message.
If that doesn't work as I am assured it should, then alternatively, and
more long-windedly, she should:
highlight the message in the Windows Mail message list,
click on the message with the right mouse button,
select Properties from the context menu,
switch to the Details tab.

Meerkats note the interesting spin that a hedghog can put on being
mistooken.

Will that delete the program? That should help considerably.

Meerkats can offer a simpler instruction:
Install Thunderbird: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/

Now come on! When you last saw me, did I have a bag on my head? And have I
ever upset/worried/frightened your neighbours? Or pinched your wheelie bin
to go wheelie bin racing?

Yes. Easier to use in some ways, but tends to assume you don't want to do
various things - like download a printable version of a full header. You can
get one up to look at, but can't do much else, which is a bugger when you
need to print one off. I'm going to try copying it to word, if it will let
me.

Don't worry, I'm not holding it against you :-} I thought just after I
turned the computer off that I should have mentioned son of Outlook
Depressed. I knew about both the above options. You can see the full
header, but it won't let you print them.

Ahahhhhhh - moving the goalposts. You never mentioned printing the first
time round. yus, it seems you have to copy and paste if you want to
print out the entire header.

Do not meddle in the affairs of cats, for they are subtle and will whiz on your computer.
