London Freedom Passes

Being an old git living in London I have one of these.
Overhearing a conversation in a pub between other old gits they were
saying that they are valid on Green Line services.
I can't find anything online to verify this.
Is it true? ...

Whenever in London, I always looked forward to buying a copy of the London Evening Standard. It was always amusing to read it on board the tube whilst many people read the free London Lite instead of having to pay for the Standard.
Now that the ES is a freebie, what will happen to the vendors who sell it at mainli ...

2010 fares announcement

The rumour mill (Dave Hill's Guardian blog) suggests that Boris will be
making the TfL 2010 Fares announcement on Thursday of this week. It will
be interesting to see if more clarity emerges about NR PAYG given the
"end of 2010" statements made about it in the Draft Transport Strategy.
