Warstone Motors (Green Bus) of Stanley Hall Lane, Great Wyrley, is to
have its licence suspended for 12 months from 1st July, 2009.
A sad end, if such it is, for an operator that had such an interesting
fleet back in the 1980s. In more recent years, they have used vintage
Bedfords on various routes during August.

Heat on First Glasgow Bus Fells Pensioner

On service 216 this afternoon around 15.20, aboard PS Volvo M428RRN in
Dumbarton High St and old lady collapsed due to the heat, as
Paramedics attended to her the rest of us sweltered in the bus, at
15.50 he let us squeeze past her. I've always felt that the PS types
were overheated and under ventilated. Now here ...
