Vonage knocked out in UK

It seems that Vonage connection to the outside world has been knocked
out in the UK at present (no calls to or from Vonage to non-Vonage
networks). Vonage can't tell me when service will be restored. ...

vigor 2800 caller id/display support?

Perhaps it's me - but until recently I've used my trusty PAP to provide
VoIP -> ATA conversion, and it's been great.
I finally got round to putting some back up numbers on our backup DSL via
a Vigor 2800. The one thing I've noticed is no matter what I do, I can't
get any caller ID/Display out of it, something ...

Grrr changing time on granstream 2020

Uk daylight change has taken place moving clock
back an hour.
I expected the grandstream 2020 to update it , but it
ddint , restarting a few times and fiddling with the
setting does not seem to hv adjusted to the corect time
even setting it to the azores which i GMT-1 seems
to hve had no effect whatsoever

Which phone to use with Asterisk

When I get round to setting up an Asterisk server, I'm guessing I'm going
to need to use IP phones with it (of course). The think I'm wondering, is
what recommendations for something cheap and basic that will support a
headset, allow me to put calls on hold to answer other calls etc most
gratefully received. ...

However, now "Smartvoip.com" looks better.
