Mobile number directory

I've started getting SMS ads sent to me by companies who've never had
my mobile number (my hairdresser, electric company). I presume someone
has started selling mobile numbers they've aquired somehow. Any idea
who this might be?

Blackberry/WiFi/Browser

Hello
I've got a Blackberry 8520 on Virgin.
It can connect to a WiFi network ok, but when I start the browser, it says
(something like) "Can't connect. Check with your service provider". If I
then type a url, it fetches the page correctly. Subsequent browsing is
always ok. It's only the 1st time you start ...

Unlock fees (again) - Orange, out of contract

One of my colleagues has come to the end of his contract with Orange
and asked about getting his phone unlocked - they want ¡ê20 and said
the phone might be out of action for 10-14 days (!)
Are they still allowed to charge to unlock once you've completed your
contract ? ...
