I have a max budget of ¡ê150. (plus ¡ê10 topup they require)
I am NOT interested in a contract phone as my credit sucks.
I mainly send texts, the odd email, use facebook and it must have a decent
music player
I'm not ...

3 Skypephone vs. ZTE F102
Thu, 3 Sep 2009 11:39:40 +0100
Have I missed a good deal at 3(tm)?
The S3 was being reccomended here at 39.99 but now it seems to
be 49.99 and no included credit.
There is a ZTE F102 at 39.99 but I know nothing about this phone,
is it vastly inferior to the S3?

O2 - was this a scam
Wed, 02 Sep 2009 22:21:42 +0100
I got a call on my little used (except for incoming calls), Nokia which
is on a PAYG O2 sim - this was whilst on the motorway so I couldn't
hear much of what was said. All of my outgoing calls go via another O2
phone on contract, but not in my name.
Basically they were offering me a new phone. Asked how much ...

Orange are doing a cheap phone deal as discussed here:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/472381/free-20-hmv-voucher-when-you-buy-sa/
It's easy to get the best deal if you are a student with a nus number,
however it doesn't seem that Orange check these numbers in any way YMMV.

Three coverage maps
Wed, 02 Sep 2009 08:13:44 +0100
It appears the 3 have just changed the format of their website coverage
maps. Previously, they showed 3g and 2g coverage. Now inside and outside coverage.
This means that large parts of the country are now shown as only having
outside coverage, which in their words says "You can use your mobile to
make calls, ...

Tue, 1 Sep 2009 11:10:57 +0100
Looking for someone with an Orange OVP-Virgin SIM that they'd be willing to
transfer into my name.
I've had a little look around the web and eBay etc. but that hasn't revealed
much. I know there's been some talk about them on here recently so just
wondered if anyone reading this newsgroup would have a spare or ...
