The last decent Blackberry

I've just noticed that the newer Blackberries are actually seriously
inferior to older versions.
Why? I'm still using a Blackberry 8100, which I occasionally take to
pieces to get it to work again. I've thrown away the fiddly metal
bits from the trackball, and it actually works better than when it was
new! (Oh ...

Cheapest way to call T-Mob?

Hi all,
We have an elderly neighbour who regularly calls her son on his T-Mob
from her PAYG T-Mob at about ¡ê20 / 3 weeks.
She was also talking about getting a new mobile but we were thinking
there must be a cheaper way?
Whatever the solution I'm pretty sure she wouldn't want anything more
than a monthly co ...

Is it just me or is VMobile painfully poor this afternoon/evening? Unable to
connect since mid-afternoon to any site, no settings have been changed,
checked profiles, all appear in order (Samsung Jet). Fire it into picking
up wi-fi connection, no problems at all...
Anyone else having the same difficulties?

Our UK based corporate network has a Small Blackberry Enteprise server for
12 users.
One user has reported the following:
If he forwards an email from his Blackberry to his Yahoo account whilst he
is in China, the process takes a matter of seconds.
If he is back in the UK, the message can take anythin ...

probably some horrendously out of date ¡ê20/MB or something!

How come when I turn on WiFi on the device I suddenly get a flurry of emails
coming through? Surely they should come through on GRPS but just slower?
