Success With Windows98 BUT

I connect to the Internet on my Windows98 machine by Ethernet cable and
able to browse the web with no problems ! There is a green light on the

Thanks for the replies to my original message.In desperation at 6 pm tonight
I entered IP Address,Subnet Mask,Default Gateway etc manually as per a Sky
instruction sheet that I had printed off yesterday in case I had any
problems.
I couldn't believe it when I saw the word "connected" and everything ...
