BT BBPhone with Linksys

Has anyone managed to use the BB phoneline (05602 etc) with non-BT routers?
I've got a BT 2700HGV modem/router but want to revert to using my linksys
kit, however I don't want to lose the use of the phone service.

A couple of months ago moved my phone provider to Talk Talk, all been well
until yesterday when I found my line to be restrictive in that any number I
dial out puts me to TT Financial Dept who automaticly demand I give my
Credit Card number and make payments. At sign up I gave my bank details for
a Direct Deb ...

I'd just love to be able to pass all my cold callers to some sort of AI
program with speech recognition and then sit back and listen in on the
conversation.
Somebody must have done it surely? ;-)

DECT compatible corded phone which isn't base station - possible?

We currently have a Siemens DECT C475IP system as our main home phone
and, in the main, it works pretty well.
However there is one minor gripe, there is one old, non-DECT, phone
also on the line and if we answer with that the DECT system doesn't
notice and flashes its 'missed call' indicator. I don't quite see ...

I want a Caller ID device which remembers at least 100 calls and
displays the full information.
Looking around, I think there are fewer standalone CLID display
units than there used to be.
On the other hand the CLID function build into many phones seems
