I am officially back on New Deal again.
The first thing of note was the complete lack of service standards which the
JC says it offers to customers.
They say "We will be friendly, fair and helpful". "Behave professionally".

Additional ¡ê60 Christmas bonus payment?

I recently received the annual letter about the pension rate changes
plus a letter about the ¡ê25 severe cold weather payment but haven't
had anything about the extra ¡ê60 that was mentioned in the pre-budget
report. Anyone know if we'll be getting a notification about this or
will it just get paid in to the account ...

if it's relevant, but since increased to High and Higher rates for
both respectively) and Severe Disablement Allowance since sight
problems in 1992. In February 1999, she turned 60 and the SDA was
stopped and she started receiving her State Pen ...

This new scheme for people who have been out of work for 6 months - you
know the one, with 'up to' 2500 pounds for an employer to take someone on.
As far as I know, its 1000 pounds without training, that's the one I'm
interested in - does anyone know if it is active yet?

rules on overcrowding in council flats

tried to find another more suited and not found one.
I live in a council block of flats and one of the flats above me has 5
people living in it even though it is a bedsit/studio flat. They are
quite noisy and often slam doors loudly. I would like ...
