I stopped work at the end of October but didn't claim JSA until mid January
so any savings have gone. I am due to start work on Monday but the
arrangement is to be paid monthly then one month in arrears. ie I wont
receive and payment until nearly the end of May.

Pension

Just had notification through for someone whose tax return I do each
year.
Worked all his life, retired at 65. Works pension plus state pension.
Suprised me how much the state pension part is going up by. Over ¡ê50 a
month increase to ¡ê125.77 a week from April.
And here I was listening to the old people bitching ...

As we all know by now, the Jobcentre orders people to apply for jobs and
they must comply or face loss of JSA.
Just had a reply from one of the companies I was instructed to contact re a

ESA payments abroad

At present I'm in reciept of incapacity benefit. I can claim this
benefit for 6 months a year while I'm abroad, actualy 90 days away and
90 days in the UK. Does the new ESA have similar provisions?

Could any of you experts please clarify if IB counts towards the household
