Housing benefit query ?

How long are you allowed to be away from your property on a regular
basis ? (bearing in mind that housing benefit and council tax is paid
for me)
And also how long do you have to stay in your home before you can
leave again ?

Hmm bit of a long shot question here.
Currently me and my ex live apart, I have my place and she hers and
theres a lot of distance in between us, shes on income support and has
her rent paid and council tax and gets child benefit. I get income
support and dla at the middle rate and my rent paid and council tax.

Is anyone else is due a Tax Credit payment today?
My payment has not been paid into my bank account as of yet, just wondering
if it is just me or has anyone else not had their payment. My last payment
was made on the 27th March and is due every 4 weeks.

A friend was discussing his aged relatives's care home fees, which are
apparently paid by the council's social services department, without any
contribution from said relative's remaining savings. I was curious how the
system can work. Do they contact the banks direct to verify the savings?

Direct Payments for mental health?

Does anyone have any advice about what can be done with direct payments,
especially for people with MH problems?
I'm aware that DPs are from local government, and that they're different
