Do you choose environmental accommodation?
Tue, 06 Nov 2007 07:04:32 -0800
I'm interested in the awareness and attitudes of people towards
accommodation that is doing it's 'bit' for the environment. If you
could spare 5 minutes of your time to provide feedback on what it
would take for you to book a 'green hotel', and if so, how do you know
it's green? Please follow the link below:

The Gunns Clearfelling Handbook Volume 1
Tue, 06 Nov 2007 01:29:34 GMT
One of the PR miracles of our time is the way Gunns have disguised land
clearing to below the roots as 'forestry'. Nothing could be further from
the truth. What they do is remove an area of bush in its entirety and cart
it to a wood-chipper. It's really 'above ground tree mining' or even 'wood
quarrying'. Their PR ...

Another PATHETIC Ski Season in Australia
Tue, 06 Nov 2007 01:28:32 GMT
Where will it all end? Another virtually non-existent ski season in the
Australian alps. If I wasn't getting paid to disseminate blatant
anti-climate change disinformation, I would be wailing into my hot Milo.
I've had it! Climate Change has rooted us. Bonzo

Two proposed amendments to the Winthrop Town Charter will appear on the

petition to five percent of the number of votes cast in the last
gubernatorial election. The second would prevent the Town Council from
overturning the result of a publ ...

'Sustainable Ecocide' Why should an illiterate land-clearer
retrain?
Fri, 02 Nov 2007 03:37:12 GMT
I've met some of the people that 'work' dismantling our ecosystem. Many
are illiterate dope-smokers that think they should have 'job security'
while the rest of the economy faces Climate Change and market
fluctuations. Why is a person that is committing what is environmental
ecocide be treated as some kind of sacr ...

According to Mori, 82% of consumers want companies to make more

This is why so many businesses and corporations now see social and

Turnbulls Climate Change Masturbation Ignores Coal & Clear-Felling
Mon, 29 Oct 2007 04:54:01 GMT
Is just like opposing whale hunting but excluding whales. Your dishonesty
will continue to be exposed Turnbull. The country with the worlds biggest
CO2 production per head is also the worlds biggest CO2 exporter, in the
form of coal and wood chips. What are you doing about it Turnbull?
Converting some of the woodc ...

The Gorgeous 'Weld Angel' and Tasmanian Fascism
Mon, 29 Oct 2007 04:53:08 GMT
She's beautiful, fighting for our forests and famous, thanks to a Richard
Flanagan article on corruption in Tasmania. Now the extremist Lennon
government want to bill her everytime she is dragged out of the forests by
the police. The government solicitor pointed-out that the police are
already paid by taxpayers an ...

Why Is Plantation Timber Much Smaller Than Native Timber?
Mon, 29 Oct 2007 04:52:48 GMT
Ever been to an Australian wood-chip area? One thing you notice is the
trucks carrying native forest. The logs are absolutely huge compared to
the pathetic little matchsticks that are grown as tree crops. Why is this?
When companies like Gunns clear-fell they are removing an entire ecosystem
that is often centurie ...
