if bromine rather than chlorine compounds had been widely used in
refrigeration, the planet's ozone layer would have been irreversibly

River Medway pollution

I have been sailing on the River Medway in Kent and came across two
paper factories discharging huge quanitites of effluent into the tidal
part of the Medway. I thought we had stopped doing this to our rivers
the clip of the pipes is on you tube - last three minutes is about the
paper factories
