walking on Stockdale Lane at the weekend (Settle-Malham). There are
some new YDNP signs on the gate (at least the gate by Stockdale Farm,

Expedition update

Hello group
Thanks to iPhone technology we can now give you an up to the minute
report from this years destination.
At the moment we are basking in the warm evening sunshine and have
hardly seen a drop of rain all day.
We are still arguing about where to walk, though Judith and martin
have been on one already. ...

Bigger tent for campsites

I'm thinking of getting a bigger tent just for campsite use. This is the one
I like the look of, the Vango Omega 350 (2009 version). It's almost tall
enough to stand up in so a chair and small table should fit easily into the
porch. It's got alloy poles and the price is a bargain compared to hi-tech
backpackin ...
