Yorkshire Dales TROs: update     Mon, 03 Aug 2009 10:00:20 +0100
Following on from the High Court quashing 4 of the YDNP TROs, I was out walking on Stockdale Lane at the weekend (Settle-Malham). There are some new YDNP signs on the gate (at least the gate by Stockdale Farm, and at the end of Stockdale Lane where it meets the Airton Road near the alleged site of the roman c ...

OT World White Population Set to Drop from 17% to 7% by 2050     Sun, 2 Aug 2009 02:47:16 -0700 (PDT)
World White Population Set to Drop from 17% to 7% by 2050 While the populations of Europe, Russia, and the US have levelled off and even decreased, the populations of China and Africa are accelerating beyond all expectations. Immigration reduced the percentage of Whites in the US from 99% when the US Constituti ...

OT There are now more Africans in England than in some African countries, many of which are far larger than the UK.     Sun, 2 Aug 2009 02:27:39 -0700 (PDT)
There are now more blacks in England than in some African countries, many of which are far larger than the UK. How far is England going to sink before the people wake up and turn on the politicians responsible? List of African countries by population: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_African_countries_by_po ...

Expedition update     Sat, 1 Aug 2009 11:37:04 -0700 (PDT)
Hello group Thanks to iPhone technology we can now give you an up to the minute report from this years destination. At the moment we are basking in the warm evening sunshine and have hardly seen a drop of rain all day. We are still arguing about where to walk, though Judith and martin have been on one already. ...

Bigger tent for campsites     Fri, 31 Jul 2009 12:53:21 +0100
I'm thinking of getting a bigger tent just for campsite use. This is the one I like the look of, the Vango Omega 350 (2009 version). It's almost tall enough to stand up in so a chair and small table should fit easily into the porch. It's got alloy poles and the price is a bargain compared to hi-tech backpackin ...
