New Baikals

Got a friend, small framed, whos looking to get into shooting. Hes tried a
27E and gets on with it. I checked out Guntrader and now in a delema
Dealer local has a Remington badge Baikal, multi choke, brand new, 395.
A dealer in Stafford has a true badged Baikal IZH 27E, multi choke, brand
new for 389

Clay colours

I shot 2 sets of 25 ESK this weekend at different grounds. I know I'm out
of practice at the moment, but I shot really poorly. Then I realised they
were both orange clay layouts, and I think all the skeet I've shot in the
last 6+ months has been black clays.
I know I'm clutching at straws for excuses here ...

so two weeks today --if there is less than four beside us we might have to

Gun licence

A friend has had his shotgun certificate torn in half. can he get a
replacement ? how much will a replacement cost? is he
legally able to shoot or buy cartridges with a torn licence?

Skeet gun?

Having realised that I am absolutely crap at Sporting,I'm sticking
mainly to skeet now, where I hit more than I miss.
I've promised myself a new gun when I get a straight 50 (so, it could be
some time in the future then!)
What do I look for in a skeet specific gun?
I'd like 20 bore, so that puts some limi ...

Anyone suggest a successful Fibre Wad Cartridge

My local shoot is fibre only and so regardless of where I go I tend to stick
with fibre when I buy cartridges in bulk.
When I ran out the other day I had to buy some plastic wad cartridges from

Doctor letter pro forma

There 'used' to be a good pro forma letter to send to your doctor when
applying or renewing your certificate. Sure it was on one of the major
UK shooting web sites. It was good IIRC, laying out Doctor's
responsilbility, what could be asked and answered, who would be liable
for any charges etc.
