FJ1200ABS replacing brake hoses.     Tue, 19 May 2009 12:57:12 +0100
I scored a set of ss braided hoses & banjos off Ebay for my 1992 FJ1200ABS. Yesterday I performed some 'investigative surgery' to look at how easy it would be. Then promptly replaced the tank & seat and went for a cup of tea, a smoke and a nice lie down! Am i correct in thinking that this is quite a big ...

VeloSlowlex insurance     17 May 2009 20:44:19 GMT
Anybody got a suggestion for an insurer that won't either crease up laughing or want a small fortune to insure a Merde Vieux Slowlex? Adrian Flux/Bikesure seem to want the thick end of three hundred quid. Seriously. They might be having a giraffe, but they ain't having any business... ...

Continental Go?     Sat, 16 May 2009 20:26:03 +0100
Anyone tried them? I called my local tyre emporium only to be advised that the Conti TKVs that I've sworn by for the last erm 20 years are being phased out in favour of the new Go. Prices are comparable, but it's not clear where the Gos sit in terms of grip or wear. If the Gos are nearer to the old TK than ...
