Headlight Alignment     Tue, 17 Nov 2009 10:50:31 +0000 (UTC)
I can't believe I don't know the answer to this - I am truly a TC. Should the 'level' bit of the headlight beam (not the bit that kicks up) be horizontally aligned to the lane you're in, or the lane to the right? I.e. on a single carriageway road, should the kick-up start at the left curb or the centre of the road ...

Hi, Sold an old TV on Ebay last night, the winning bid was a late one and I immediately emailed him. Emailed again today, no reply. It's a cash on collection jobbie from someone who lives around 5 miles away, how long before I offer to second bidder and tell first one to bugger off? TIA -- Kev ...

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland population is about 60 million. And yet UKRM has a significantly higher posting volume than Reeky, which represents at least 400 million people (United States + Canada + UK + New Zealand), those being the only nationalities I personally know to be contribu ...

OT: Impressive Jump     Mon, 16 Nov 2009 20:25:29 -0000
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/sussex/8362671.stm I am officially impressed. Not so much with the jump, but with the fact that there was no hint of 'dangerous, irresponsible, think of the children' type comments in the entire article. Crap landing though. -- ZX6R F2 - The Gravelseeker BOTAFOT #121, ...

Dropped into the Black Horse today on the way home after a weekend holiday. Mu told me Mike went into hospital two weeks ago with lymph node cancer. (after a long period of Mike refusing to acknowledge the lumps and other symptoms existed - typical bloke!) He's currently getting chemo, I didn't pry into how i ...
