N. Wales fishing

Up in N.Wales from the w/end 4th of May. Going to fish Lockwood and
probably Dywarchen. Unless any other ideas?
Was up the other w/end Cwmystradllyn was very nice but not lot alot
happening, Dywarchen wa very hard going. But the views were lovely.
Its not all about catching is it :-((

Just found my old rod and reel in the basement. I'm thinking of going
fishing this weekend as well as walking, perhaps up in the Lake
District. I've not been for about 17 years!
I think I will almost definitely need a new floating line.
Will have to pop to the post office tomorrow to buy a license. Never
boug ...

Farmoor 1 is no more - taken back by Thames Water - leaving Darlow for the
club. I got there last Thursday about 11.30. Light breeze and warm. Not
too many fishing - lots of space. I walked right round - very few fish
rising so started with a size 14 black superglue buzzer on a 12 foot leader.

I'd like some opinions on fly rods please.
Been fishing all my life , coarse and sea, just had my
first fly casting lesson, and need a rod.
Im thinking about either a Daiwa Whisker MK2 or a Grey's G-series ?
9 foot, #6/7 Both about ¡ê50-¡ê60. Ive been told its better to
have a slight 'soft' action ?
