Opps petrol in water system
Wed, 22 Apr 2009 22:37:47 +0100
I know this is a very very silly thing to do . But I have managed to get a
very small amount of petrol in the water system of my van. I know you will
want to know how I did this. basically I have a siphon pump which I use to
fill my aquaroll to save me lugging it into my house to fill. Unknown to me

f/s spare 'van stuff
Tue, 21 Apr 2009 19:03:06 +0100
Apologies to all if I'm doing the wrong thing here but hopefully somebody
can benefit from our "garage sale" as well as us!
A few months ago we swapped out our car and caravan and had to replace stuff
to go with 'em that wasn't compatible or it just wasn't needed, so now the
spring cleanout has descended upon ...

A6 Tow car
Tue, 21 Apr 2009 04:47:39 -0700 (PDT)
Need to change my towcar and like the look of the diesel auto A6
perhaps 2002 - 2004. Would you think this is a bit suicidal due to
cost of parts / service etc or are they tough as old boots like the
old volvo 740/940 range. I think the standard A6 is a 2.5 130 bhp
unit.Got 5/6 k to spend so hopefully 2004 should ...

Mon, 20 Apr 2009 22:25:29 +0100
I use a T-mobile USB internet dongle with laptop in caravan which works fine
but on some sites the signal is poor, does anyone know of some sort of
extension aerial that maybe fixes on the outside of the caravan to boost
signal.
I have seen this on e-bay http://stores.ebay.co.uk/WONG-TRADE and also

Carver water heater drain plug?
Sun, 19 Apr 2009 15:32:44 +0100
Probably a long shot, but....
Does anyone know the size of O ring needed for the Carver's drain plug
please? This is the plastic plug in the bottom left corner of the vent,
which you can unscrew with a coin.
I noticed mine was leaking last time out, due to the O ring being
missing and I had to botch a gask ...

BBC Get it Wrong
Fri, 17 Apr 2009 11:42:44 +0100
Seen the clip on BBC News of someone demonstrating how not to connect an
electric car to a recharging point?
As every caravanner knows, connect the blue plug to the vehicle/caravan
FIRST, then connect to the mains socket. That way you don't have live
ends floating about.
