Solar panel cont'd

Hi all
another post relating to solar panels, I have one that charges the car
battery through the cigar lighter, but if I cut off the plug and put on two
crocodile clips, and connect to my caravan battery terminals would that work
ok, doe's it matter which wire went to which terminal?
thinking of when I might ...

Hi all,well another weekend and another problem !
arrived on site and plugged in the mains-coupled up the water and switched
on the pump-no led..strange
have a check round and noticed one of the 6 amp mains mcb had tripped,reset
and tripped straight away-switch off internal charger and ok,switch on

Truma Ultraflow Filter Housing - anyone bought/fitted one?

Hi
I've bought a conversion kit today to replace my Carver 2 filter
housing. Part of the kit is a pistol grip which fits on my existing
hose, and this is supplied with a metal hose clip. The problem is do I
have to have a special tool to open this hose clip, because I've never
seen one before and I'm not sure how ...
