Swine Flu - Unrestricted live movements of pigs to continue
Fri, 06 Nov 2009 12:54:29 +0000
Pat's Note: As you can see, the vets internationally are determined to
continue to allow international live movements, despite inadequate or
non-existent surveillance - in some cases the deliberate non reporting
of swine flu in pigs encouraged by national veterinary authorities'
nudges and winks.
That has to be ...

British Cattle with circovirus?
Thu, 05 Nov 2009 11:17:02 +0000
Pat's Note: That sense of foreboding.
Circovirus - thoroughly underestimated and covered up by Britain's
bent government vets.
It's a pity they are not as good at animal health as they are at
cover-ups and intimidation.

Flying Vet Moved to PRISON
Wed, 4 Nov 2009 10:29:19 -0800 (PST)
The flying veterinary surgeon, Maurice Kirk, has been accused of
owning and selling a weapon.
It is ABSURD.
He is the "Flying Vet". He is interested in PLANES, not in weapons.
So, when he bought a prop-plane with a film prop from a film company,
he decided to get rid of the film prop.
The prop LOOKS like a ...

MRSA Pigs - Italian research just published
Tue, 03 Nov 2009 11:41:06 +0000
Pat's Note:
"The detection of a large MRSA reservoir in pigs and the finding that
professionally exposed individuals are colonised?"
Underlines the fact that Britain's hospital screening programme was
flawed. The vets did not want to be identified as carriers and put the
rest of us at risk.
Now this sub-pr ...

Buried Containers
Tue, 3 Nov 2009 00:40:02 +0000
I've seen somewhere, and I can't remember where, a reference to the use
of buried steel containers as underground storage. It may have been
here, if so apologies for forgetting who posted the info.
I'm tempted to consider this as an option for new tractor and tool
storage. I don't want to have much showing above ...

"Scientists should be on tap and not on top" Winston Churchill
Mon, 02 Nov 2009 17:04:16 +0000
"Scientists should be on tap and not on top" Winston Churchill -
quoted at Westminster today
Simply amazed and absolutely delighted to see the Conservatives
support the government on firing Dr Nutt.
Nutt's arrogance is simply amazing. He had to go and will take many
who think like him with him. They will want ...
