Sage Payroll V8.12 End of Year prob

I have been using this old version of payroll with no problems to date.
However, whilst processing the end of tax year yesterday I found the P35 had
omitted our newest employee. The P11 PAYE and NI print offs for him were
correct but none of his details (name & Deductions) appeared on the P35.

Hello,
I belive this is the case.
For a dividend taken in the 2008-2009 year of say ¡ê9,000 the tax
credit would be ¡ê1,000 and so the dividend income would be ¡ê10,000.
Now! If my personal income without the dividend is ¡ê25,000, with the
dividend income it is ¡ê35,000 and with the basic rate allowance of
¡ê6,0 ...

They're offering an upgrade to the latest version c/w 1yr support using
the VAT adjustment as a sales tool (+ lots of other new stuff
apparently). As my version is /old/ I'm considering this offer but is
Sage the best package to have?

I have just tried to register for VAT.
My business isn't an available option so I have to tell a "lie" about
what I do.
At the end of the registration process the screen goes blank and I am
left hanging with no idea whether I am registered or not.
