The company tax year goes from 1st June to 31st May. I've looked over the
2005/6 tax year accounts and would appreciate a couple of things to be
clarified.

¡êyyyy Interest from bank account
¡êxx+yy Total profit before taxation
The tax on profit is calculated to be ¡êxxxx * 19.714%. ...

How long to wait for self-employed registration?

Hi all,
My wife registered online with HMRC as a self-employed on 2 September.
She only received an automated confirmation message. I was wondering
how long does it usually take for HMRC to process a self-employed
application and send the papers? She needs a tax ID to open a business
bank account, right?
