I've been a VW fan for years and fell in love with the mk1 and mk2
GTi's. However I'm now uncertain about what to get next. I currently
have a mk2 driver (1.8) on a J plate with 232k miles.. it's obviously
been looked after in the past but shows signs of age such as a shiny
steering wheel, paint not coming up tha ...

mk2 Jetta Roof Rain gutter removal???

Hello,
I am a few weeks away from tearing apart my 92 Jetta and re-painting it.
However, I have a few rust spots coming through on the c-pillar under the
rubber rain gutter that runs along the window pillars and the roof on either
side.
How does one go about removing them without distroying them. As far as ...

Mk III Golf 1.6 Cutting out

Hiya,
I have a 1998 1.6 CL Golf MkIII that has a strange occasional cutting out
fault that's got me stumped. Engine is an AFT.
The engine will occasionally just cut out on me, just dies, no
stuttering, no warming, just stops. First thing I see is the rev counter

At the last MOT of my 2000 2.0 Cabrio, I had a warning that the top steering
mounts were showing signs of play. I'm now getting a knocking from the
steering when turning from lock to lock and at low speeds. The car had a
