MK4 Golf Rear Demister Not Working

Hi all,
The rear demister has stopped working.
I've also noticed the dash button is orange regardless of whither it's
pushed on or off.
I'm going to check the fuse this weekend, any help/experience would be
much appreciated.
The Golf is a 2000 GTI 1.8T

fuel pump problem....please can you help?????

Hi, my transporter broke down a few weeks ago....the fuel timing belt
snapped.
i have taken it to a friend who owns a car shop...hes not great on diesels
so has got a friend of his in to change the fuel pump...time it up... etc....
i bought a used one from the same modal van....
now this guy has fitted the pump ...

passenger engine mount and dogbone mount

I have a worn passenger side engine mount and I suspect the dogbone
mount (rear engine mount) may be worn as I'm getting aknock coming right
from that area when reversing out of the drive and touching the brakes
theres a clunk coming from the dogbone area.

MK4 golf washer jets

My washer jets do hit the window when sprayed, but quite a bit shoots
onto the rood and sunroof area which shamefully has got me unaware a few
times :)
Is there a way to shorten the spray pattern and aim it more directly
onto the screen ?

If it had not been run for a while and it's the first cold night of
the season, that would explain it too. Look back when you are
accelerating hard, do you see it? Probably normal... I wouldn't worry
unless it gets worse. ...
