Anybody help me please.
I have just bought the above vehicle, and all is fine except for the
brake lights.
They seem to work intermittantly, and trying to track the fault is
driving me insane!!
Anybody had this problem, and if so, how was it cured??

with AIRCOOLED engine was produced in the period 1980-1983 (until
wasserboxer engine was introduced).

I have a 72 beetle and replaced the gen with brand new alternator when
i rev it the gen light comes on why? what could be the problem? please
help as soon as possible because car is for sale and need only that
problem fixed. when i replaced the alternator the light wouldn't come
on at high revs but i let it sit ...

Dellorto Problem

I've just put a pair of Dellorto 40's on a rebuilt 1798cc VW engine in
my Speedster.
However, the number 3 and 4 cylinders don't seem to be firing
properly.
I've checked the electrics and fuel supply and all seems OK. Adjusted
the timing yet they still don't fire properly. The exhausts on the 1
and 2 cylin ...
