Mini-mini review - It's not that bad.
Engine is smooth and quiet, quieter than the Volvo's 5 pot but I don't
know if it's as smooth, hard to tell.
Tiptronic box is good at nicely slurred auto shifts but not so hot at
deciding what you're asking it to do, wafting along gently it's
unnoticeable, but if a bit ...

OT: MX-5 MK1 Discs/pads for sale

Chaps, does anyone know anyone with a MK1 MX-5 who might shortly be after
a set of discs and pads? I've just discovered a full set of brand new,
still boxes and in the protective paper in my cupboard!
Pads - EBC "Ultimax" Heavy Duty Pads DP802 front, DP828 rear. Kevlar pads
Discs - Boxed, "Solid Ace" branded ...

It appears that insuring a 1997 BMW 528i Estate is cheaper than insuring
a Golf TDI. Go figure...
Mind you, an XJR is only going to be around 50-60 quid more expensive
than the Golf.
Not that I've found an actual car but I figured it'd be useful to know.

VAG gearbox expertise needed

I seem to have acquired myself a 1997 Seat Ibiza 1.4. Only problem is it's
gearbox is knackered. I was going to drive it round for a bit and just let
it whine away until I found a cheap box to put in it. However the box
decided to lunch itself within about 0.5 miles of me driving it. There is
no longer any ...

BMWs and Nissan Stageas, I suddenly found myself in the Alfa 156
section on pistonheads and actually liked what Sportswagons I saw...
