Best car breakers north london?

Underside rust has got the better of my trusty Micra, though the engine
has only done 49000, so I have to scrap. Which car breakers in North
London gives the best deal/price for scrap?

Higher mileage engine oil question

My motor is a 2002 Toyota Avensis Estate GS 1.8 VVTI with 113 000
miles on clock . Being the infamous vvti engine it hasn't until
recently done too badly but now I'm putting in a litre of oil every
800 - 1000 miles . I've been using Halfords 10 w - 40 semi synthet.

Hi,
You may remember I posted about my diesel C3 that had lost power. I
had the codes read and they were turbo under pressure and an EGR
fault. You kindly suggested I had a leak. You were right. The garage
finally found that the pipe from the turbo has a broken seal and most

Had this problem since summer, seems to be getting slightly worse as
weather gets colder.
Symptoms are going along quite OK, then suddenly engine seems to lose
power and you notice speedo has dropped to zero. If you have to come
