Post rebuild I'm having a bit of trouble with the ignition timing on my 1966
E-Type. Book says 10 btdc, but that was for 5* fuel; pre-rebuild it ran OK
at 8 btdc on Shell V-Power. Now it pinks at the top end of the rev range,
which is something I've never come across before. Retarding yet further to
6 btdc ...

Adpating self-levelling Nivomats for the SD1 Vitesse?

Anyone with an SD1 Vitesse or other older car which previously had
Nivomats but which are no longer available might feel the same - that
it's a real drag having to put up with inferior spring/shock suspension

Just about ready to fit the MegaSquirt. Taking my time as I want a nice
neat reliable installation. Made up a complete new wiring loom for the SD1
injection - in all the right colours.
But decided a wideband O2 sensor was the way forward - allows the MS to
stay closed loop over a far wider rev range and load. ...

Has anyone here successfully revived an air conditioning system in a
vehicle that has been discharged and unused for ten years?
I've long wanted to the air con working again in my SD1 Vitesse but ten
years have passed since I got the car, and that's eleven years since it
