Fitting a Cobra A Bar to a Jeep Cherokee

A friend of mine handed me his fitted Cobra A Bar from his Cherokee but
there appears to be something missing from the bottom. The bolts have a
small threaded bar but for the life of me I cannot see where they fit.
We have the same model and I am wondering if there is a bar that comes
with it that he has left on ...

Pickup fuel consumption

I am thinking of buying a larger caravan which will necessitate a
larger car and I have been thinking of the new versions of the L200 or
Nissan Navara.
Can anyone tell me what the real world fuel consumption of these
vehicles is like ? Any other info on running costs greatly appreciated

Hopefully someone here can help me out of an embarrassing problem. I
agreed to wire up some spotlights on my brothers VW Taro. Plan was
for them to be linked to main beam, in that they would be on with main
beam, but otherwise off.

Smokey Exhaust

Hi Guys
I have a 2005 Grand Vitara 2.0 TD diesel, 12,000 miles on the clock. I have
noticed when I accelerate hard in 3rd gear doing about 55mph 4000rpm, I have
some smoke coming from the exhaust.
Is this normal.

Nissan FD35T in a Land Rover

I have a Land Rover County 110 1986 which suffered a fire in 2004 when
the starter motor became faulty. Difficulty in getting a new starter
motor meant that I had the old one repaired. Now the solenoid is on its
last legs.
I need to source the starter motor for this engine FD35003358T

is there anyone on here who has any experience of running a diesel engine on
this, not 100%, but 1/3 or 2/3?.
i'm thinking of getting an older 4x4, probably a trooper or patrol and
wondered if anyone had any experience, i read a post on this group earlier
in the year by a guy who was running a pajero on 1/3 ...

Anyone know the recommended tyre pressure for the standard 18" wheels?, no
mention in handbook, which only talks about the16" wheels.
