How to avoid guestbook spam without php or other server side

Hello all,
The question has been asked everywhere on the internet but I can't
manage to find a solution that fits my needs.
Situation:
My guestbook gets automated spam with unwanted adult content by the
dozens. The moment I deleted those messages, an hour later there are a
dozen of new messages.

Thought I would share this. The CMS that I'm using for a blog puts the
title of an item inside a title="" attribute that appears in various links.
This is done with a variable of course. All is fine until the title of an
item has something in quotes. Of course the first " that appears signals

guestbook avatars - confused ?

Selecting one of the four radio buttons will decide what avatar is used
- and even though it was myself who designed it - i find it little
confusing .
The confusion being you can pick one of the 40 gallery avatars - but it
doesnt get used unless you click on the appropr ...
