Looking for a suitable Currency Conversion web service.

I need to do 27 currency conversions 5 times per week. I need a web
service so that the numbers can, automatically, be cached in my
database.
That's not a lot of traffic but I've been quoted a price of over $2000
/ year by a certain popular currency conversion web-site.

We've written an application for an auction house so that they can upload
their catalogues.
One of the things they need to be able to do is upload large zip files of
images. Our app then unzips the file, resizes all the images to make
thumbnails and larger images, etc, using GD.

I sometimes need to take quite long MS Word documents and convert to simple
HTML, keeping only a minimum of formatting (paragraphs, italics, bold and

I have a client who uses Front Page. They love it and simply can't get
on with Dreamweaver. However, as you can imagine, the Front page code
is a nightmare for me to work with using PHP Also as we are about to
move to a Linux VPS I'd rather not have Front Page extensions on there.
