I was in my local Maplin today and they appeared to have end of line /
discontinued satellite boxes on sale. Is there a similar thing which I could
connect to my existing Sky digi dish which would allow me to watch other
channels in another room without my having to reposition the dish? I have a

FVRT200 problems

Hi,
I bought one of these about two weeks ago. Today it's started to play
up. It locked up and wouldn't respond to the remote, requiring me to
turn it on and off. It seemed fine then, but while I was watching an
one-hour programme the picture froze twice, again requiring a switch
on and off.

On the digihome there is a menu seting to check for latest software (& download if available).
The last off-air was back in Feb. & I didn't get it.
Hoping someone might know its web whereabouts, it sure aint available from Vestel, Digihome or Cabot.

Does anyone know where version 5.3(UK) [single channel record] or a later version than 1.0(UK) [dual channel record]
can be found for a Digihome PVR80 / PVR160 / DTR0207 or Vestel T810? all the same software.
There doesn't seem to be an off-air download scheduled for the near future so upgrading via the serial link ...

None of the methods did anything, the 'menu' method resulted in the machine sitting all night
with a static download progress bar. Soon cured with a power cycle.
Looks like the 'tech tricks' aren't standard across PVRs, & that I should have checked the dtg
site for download da ...

Swap - Freecom DVB-T Hybrid for plain Freecom DVB-T?

Anyone got a Freecom DVB-T USB stick - the plain version - and want to swap
it for the hybrid version (which receives both DTT/ Freeview and analogue
signals? I'm moving my kit from PC to a Mac, and the TV software I'm looking
at on the Mac supports the DTT/ Freeview-only version (boo!).

Just considering buying a Topfield TF5800PVR from John Lewis but wondered if
there is likely to be a replacement model out in the next couple of
weeks/months.
This usually happens when I eventually buy in to a technology (I got rid of my
Phillips V2000 machine a few years ago...)

Panasonic DMR-EX95 interchange of DVD-RAM between PC and Recorder

I want to move Jpegs between PC and PVR using a DVD-RAM, but I cannot
as a DVD-RAM formatted on the PC is not recognised on the PVR and
vica versa. I've tried with Nero and windows XP.
Does anybody know of any PC software that will allow me to create a
compatible DVD-RAM for my Panasonic?
