I note that one or two PVRs (including the Humax, I think) claim to support
the MHEG-5 teletext standard.
Can some kind soul please explain in words of one syllable what that means
in practice. When I look up MHEG-5 in Wiki etc., I get a lot of gobbledegook
which I don't understand, but which appears to indic ...

Problem with ITV1 PDC?

Hi
I've noticed over the past couple of weeks that the programs recorded on ITV1
and using PDC the end of the programs have been cut short.
I have a Panasonic DMR-ES10EB DVD Recorder and it always worked OK using PDC
to record programs on all channels. The problem only occurs on ITV1 (YTV
Region)

Just spotted that the Humax website now has version 1.00.21 available for
download at

I got a DTI6300-16 from my dad who no longer wanted it. Set it all up
and it all seemed to work fine. I left it in standby for a while - a
couple of weeks (!) as I have SKY plus and was going to sell it. When
I tried it again, it all works fine UNTIL I plug an aerial in!! As

Me again. Sorry.
Toppy keeps recording things that aren't set anymore, or aren't set at all.
For example, we once had a CT for 'The Simpsons'. It has been deleted
yet Toppy still records them
It also records 'Time Team' and it has never had that set at all.
I've searched the CT's and there's nothing in the ...

Hi all.
When something is currently recording I really struggle to play it from
the start. I end up rewinding in 30s chunks.
Dunno why, but hitting 'enter' or 'play' (the two usual buttons for
playing from archive) seems to make no difference.
What's the secret then?
(Using MyStuff TAP and nothing else c ...
