New EPG Problem?

When I go to the EPG/All Programmes I can page down from 101 to (about)
145 but no further (screen below 145 is blank and it won't go to next
page). If I then enter 148 manually the rest of the listings appear.
Anybody else noticed? If not perhaps I should power-cycle the box.

Sky Bill Calculation?

Hi all
Am having difficulties assertaining how Sky have calculated that I owe them
¡ê6.27.
I piad ¡ê47 on 25 February 2009 for the full package by DD.
On 8th March Sky turned off my subscription.
On 11th March I got it turned back on but on the ¡ê37.50 tariff.
On 17th March I downgraded to the ¡ê19.50 tar ...

Odd split screen playback of recordings on Thomson HD box

Hi all,
A while ago I watched a recording of "Lost" which was split in the playback
ie: top of screen running along the bottom! I thought it was just a glitch
and never gave it too much worry.
Last night watching another recording of Lost the same thing happened so I
checked other recordings of other programme ...

New HD EPG Resolution Problem

Sony Bravia, I have the HD Resolution Output set to Automatic to enable the
correct aspect switching in SD. If you select a channel on the EPG with a
different resolution e.g. you are on a SD channel and select a HD channel it
no longer automatically switches the TV to 1080i like it did on the old EPG.

Sky Sports 1 freezing

For a while now Sky sports 1 reception is really bad. I have tried
swapping the cables at the back to no avail.
Signal quality seems OK (50% or so), signal strength is less.
I have had the (Sky +) box for a few years now so I guess the dish could
be out of alignment (I have noticed one or two other channels c ...

Offloading from Sky+HD Box to DVD

There doesn't seem to be a lot of discussion of this activity, as I believe
most folks just delete the shows they've seen to free up disk space.
But culling through the scant bits on the box guide, it refers to
'downloading to DVD recorder'. Has anyone here actually done this? Somehow
I don't think it's via ...
