PIn No's are back

The dreaded PIN on everything seems to have returned.
No changes to our box settings, but we have to enter a PIN for everything
that is 'adult' (and I don't mean porno!) after the watershed.
Eg - Long Kiss Goodnight needs a pin....
OS 1.31 BO7
EGP 5.05.e
Anyone else got this?
And before anyone sugges ...

New Card Timetable

I'm about to go away for a month, leaving other TV users in the house who
will not be opening mail. I have not yet received new cards for my two Sky
accounts. Does anyone know when the old series cards will stop working?
Are the replacement cards pre-married or is a CS call still required for
Sky+ use?

Sky locks up sometimes when trying to play a recording.

Ever since I got Sky HD all those years ago, there has been a bug where
sometimes when you go to play a recording, it acts as if the remote suddenly
stops working.
For example, you select a recording and you're on the screen where you
choose where to start playing from (Start, User Defined, End). I usually go ...

Why do they affect the signal?
I was happily watching the Tour de France on Eurosport HD this
afternoon when around 4pm there was a loud clap of thunder and seconds
later a blue screen and the message "No satellite signal is being
received". Checked BBC1 and that was ok, but ITV4 was also off line. ...

sky box going into standby

My Dad's sky box (basic box) is going into standby when it likes - its
random. Its giving message that it is about to go into standby - just like
the message you get at 1am. Buts its happening through the day randomly.
Pressing backup will take it back to normal viewing.

Hi am having missing channels prob.
Sky say LNB is duff. as I have a Freesat box on the same LNB I am not so
sure.
I am missing BBC HD Sky 1sd sky2 sky3 and some movie channels I do have
SKY1 HD and all five normal channels.
Is this LNB or PSU. if it is PSU how easy is it to fit new parts. If it is

What size dish for Portugal?

Been offered a holiday down in Portugal at my cousins place if I don't
mind fitting a dish whilst down there. Can anybody let me know what
size dish works perfectly there please?
Here I use 1.35metre + Invacom Twin LNB (in Castellon, Spain), will
this kit be OK for there (saves me buying in anything special) ...
