Sombre-faced forecaster comes on to tell of heavy rain. In the fine detail
we find that this affects only one little corner of the country. Guess which
one. A look at the met office forecast shows that the bad weather is
expected to be confine ...

OT(?) : DAB Digital Radio reception
Tue, 06 Oct 2009 10:49:23 +0100
I can get good DAB Digital Radio reception on various mains and battery
powered receivers when upstairs in my house. They show full signal.
Downstairs however, zilch. Not a burble.
The set I'm interested in has a telescopic aerial connected to the body
of the radio with a little screw.
Is there any better ...

STB chipset uDP61115 pin-outs?
Tue, 6 Oct 2009 08:15:14 +0100
A real techie question. As per my other post, I'm looking at a neighbours'
old Sagem STB. The main processor chip is an NEC uDP61115 which I believe
has 2 UARTs (serial ports). I was wondering whether one of these was
actually wired to "unused" SCART pins but I can't find the details for this
chip (I've tri ...

I spotted this on Moel-y-Parc earlier (received in Manchester, hence the bad
reception)
