I am working on a 12V power supply with 4 pin XLR output for various studio requirements. Problem is that I can't find any standard for the voltage output. Should it be regulated at 12V or can it rise to 13.8V on a battery source? Obviously portable lighting can cope but what about cameras, control gear or ...
