late-night BBC2 Ceefax pages. The new one spreads the graphics over much

DRM on MSF?

This may sound like a bit of a crazy idea, but I wonder if DRM would work on
time signal stations like MSF or WWVB? You could add a whole load of extra
information to radio clocks, speech, music, news, weather forecasts,
something like ITV Nightscreen. Or display a series of landscapes as a
background to the clock ...

When using PAL satellite and VCR equipment to receive SECAM signals, the OSD
display data causes major colour interference when the text is superimposed
on top of the picture.

(Basically all of their widescreen content carries the AFD for 16:9 deep
letterbox, even on material which is 14:9-safe and shown in 14:9 on
