The One Show did an item on Skelton tonight. About half the report was
about radio's contribution to the war effort during WWII and I am sure
they said or implied that Skelton broadcast domestic services. Is that
true?

simply ask if anyone recognised the studio?
It looked to be almost Ealing vintage but knowing that studio complex
well can say that I don't think that it was recorded there. ...

I thought the BBC 1 coverage was quite reasonable and saw no spoiling
defects in picture quality, I did feel like a receding galaxy a few times
when the ceiling camera was pulling back from a long zoom.
