Hello everyone - hope you have all had a geat season.
We are looking at our competiton rules in an effort to get them clearer -

Tue, 29 Sep 2009 13:05:05 -0700 (PDT)
Hello People
I was looking for a 52* gap wedge & have settled for a Mizuno MP T-10

it mostly for around the greens (as I seem to miss more than In hit)
rather than for full shots, so "feel" would be more important than
anything else. I would ...

Sun, 20 Sep 2009 13:26:10 -0700 (PDT)

inches longer.
I hit them both exactly the same distance but the womens one goes
straighter and gives a better flight.
Do I need a whippy shaft or does it not ...

A fellow player was irritated when his ball had a clod of mud attached. He
knelt, clamped the ball tight in place, and removed the biggest bits with a
fingernail. The ball didn't move.
Was he correct?

Deeming unplayable
Tue, 08 Sep 2009 13:32:52 +0100
In a recent informal game, a player's ball ended up in long grass behind
a tree. He said he was going to "take a drop", understood to mean
proceeding according to Rule 28 "Ball Unplayable". On finding that two
club-lengths to the side would leave him still in long grass behind the
tree, and the other two opt ...
