Carden Park (Cheshire) and Oulton Hall (Leeds)

Both venue are owned by De Vere Hotels although Oulton Hall was a
Leeds municipal course for many years.
My wife and I had 4 free vouchers at any De Vere Course and therefore
we played Oulton Hall recently. This was just before the end of March

It would appear that this group is in permanent, terminal decline. The
reason for that statement? Here we have Easter weekend go by with four
rounds of the Masters on terrestrial TV and not one comment from
anyone. There was so much to comment about??.the first three man play-

I recently changed my Motocaddy S1 for a Hillbilly Terrain - only to have
found after playing 4 rounds on my home course that there is a fault with
it. As I am now disillusioned with Motocaddy and Hillbilly I am planning on
spending a bit more money on a Powakaddy - but which one? Does anyone have
any inform ...

re-grooving irons

My Calloway Big Bertha irons are now several years old and while they have
given pristine service I feel they need something done.
I am wondering if it would be worthwhile getting them re-grooved or for
someone like me with a handicap of 19 would it just be a waste of money.

My friend (Ian) and myself may travel down on the Friday and paly
another course in the area on the proviso we can get a good deal and a
reasonably cheap overnight stay.
Anybody else doing similar and if so what courses are under
consideration?
