Thu, 28 May 2009 07:51:49 +0100
Hello everyone. Ever since the annual meet-up at Patshull Park this year
I've been thinking about this and decided to put something into words.
Once again the annual event between North and South was a resounding
success, but talking to people during and after the games it was clear to me
that most people thi ...

Wed, 27 May 2009 15:56:38 -0700 (PDT)
Hi I've just started playing golf.
I'm playing 9 hole courses were only 3/4 holes more than 200 yrds.
Looking for a cheap driver/rescue wood for tee shots.
It must be easy to hit i.e. forgiving. I'm currently using a 3iron and
having an awful time of it.
Simple advice, for one club to tee off with. I woul ...

Hello everybody,
please let me finish the thread, reporting about the courses I've seen and
those I have played.
On the first days in Wales, we passed Welshpool and Aberdovey, but the time
just wasn't right to stop for a round, having to respect my partner Sonja's
requirements.
Both seemed to be good cours ...

I'd like to extend my sincere thanks to the UKSGers I had the chance

USG2009

A great success. Nice venue, good course with excellent greens. The
weather let us down on both days but other than that an excellent
weekend.
Well done to Mark Myers with a very good score of 37 points.
A small win for me with getting the booby prize for biggest collapse
on the back 9. I must admit I am a bi ...

Hi to all,
while sitting in Stansted waiting for the plane I gladly join in to the
choir of cheers! It was a nice venue, a good party with old and new friends
and two quite nice rounds of "wet golf"!
(I hardly do those at home though I am not a "sun only" golfer.)
I'd like to thank John The Laird for all his ...

David, at Patshull Park, the scene of an unexpected win for the South
in NvS 2009 match, they used blue lines to delineate GUR. Never seen
that before myself
