I've never read such drivel in my life.
Grey Squirrels are a recognised pest regardless of their effect on Red
Squirrel populations.
They cause untold damage to trees and nesting woodland bird
populations as well as damage to gardens which are close to woodland
areas.
Total eradication is unlikely ...
