Eon by Greg Bear
Mon, 04 Jun 2007 12:30:05 -0700
Just finished The Stars My Destination By Alfred Bester. I cannot
believe that was written in the 50's. It so not dated.
Anyway I've started Eon by Greg Bear and everyone praises it and I'm
only 50 pages in and not to impressed so far. Is it a good book? Worth
sticking out. There are so many positive views on Am ...

Is this guy worth starting or what. I fancy a fantasy soon and was
really wondering 12+ books in the wheel of time. Can anyone honestly
say they have read them all?" And is it worth it??? I'm at a lost to
the amount in the series. How long can you flog a dead horse? If it is
dead.
Opinions please!

Finished Stranger in a Strange Land

Not bad, really like the Jubal character. Although I could not help
feel that the book was out of date. Like how free love was such a new
thing when this was published. Free love is not really a new concept
anymore.
Of the next book I have decided to read is:
EON by Greg Bear
Fallen Dragon by Peter F. Hamilt ...

The Celestine Prophecy
2 May 2007 09:45:17 -0700
What is this book really about? Is it fact or fiction. So many people
have told me it has changed there lives. Is it all a load of psuedo
new age nonsense? Or does it actually have some substance? I'd also
mention, that some people have told me it was a load of tripe to. I'm
not really interested in reading it, ju ...
