Electronic chess sets

We are looking to buy our 6yo son an electronic chess set for Christmas,
since he is obsessed with the game and none of the rest of us have the
patience for it :-/
He is not a beginner, as he is receiving lessons from a proper chess master

Child Suspended from Reception!

A 'persistantly naughty child' has been suspended from my son's school - 4
weeks into his school life.
The headteacher won't confirm if they have een suspended but the father's

DS started in Reception in September and we've just been to our first
parent's evening - bless!
He's doing well, and has settled in well, and we were given a chance to look
at his 'work'.
I was suprised at the 'lack' of Mathematical development there was compared

First Speech Therapy Appointment - Any Advice?

Hi,
Just wondering if any one viewing this group has attended speech therapy
with their little ones?
My son is now 2? and was referred for speech therapy at 2, the appointment
has finally arrived for Tuesday and I have no idea what to expect.
Any information would be most welcome.
