I in addition to my mesage I will set out my stall so to speak.I have 2
adopted children as well as being an adoptee. We did have our own
child but she died in 1978. Our childrens parents were alcholics so
would the anti adoption brigade rather they'd been left with the
parents in this case?

One thing that disturbs me in the adoption "field"is the concensus that
somehow adoption is wrong. That it doesnt matter about the welfare of
the child and adoption is just giving "barren" women the chance to have
a child. Even if that was the sole criteria for adoptiion whats wrong
with it? Surely to give a chi ...

i too watched this with baited breath, i pwersonaly cand stand
NORCAP...i think they must be living in "laa laa " land...how can they
advocate adoption in one hand then become heros for searching and
finding the lost souls...doesnt realy make sence to me but hey que
serra i guess...

production.Watch out for FOUND a BBC production fronted by Kate Adie,in
spring 2007.
The emotion exposed by adopted are raw and as Robin says one must be
very careful who is entrusted with sensitve mediation.
