How long to get a new card?

I was going to upgrade to Sky HD but they said there would take them 3
MONTHS to install.
So I cancelled the order and got a 2nd hand HD box and phoned up to get a HD
subscription only and was told they will have to send me a new card.
That was 2 weeks ago and still no card.
Is this typical?
