Waking the box up

Hi
Is there a knack to bringing the box out of standby?
I have a Sky+ box & sometimes it's a real effort getting it to wake up.
Whilst just pressing standby works half the time; for the rest it just
doesn't do anything. TV + Standby & Sky + Standby just doesn't do anything.
Help please.

Problem with Sky+ Box?

We've had Sky+ for about 4 months. Until a week or so ago, all was
well. Now, we find that the picture starts to wobble from side to
side in bands after being switched on for about a minute or so. We
can stabilise it by pressing the TV button on the remote, but that
means all the sky stuff won't work, and it plays ...

Problem recording Sky progs

Hi
I have just noticed that I now appear to have a problem recording any prog
that is in a Sky package i.e. Sky Sports 1, Sky 1 etc. When I try to record
like I have done many times onto a DVD it comes up with Copy Protection
detected and will not record. If I put in a VHS tape it records but is
obviously encry ...

I've heard a rumour from a less than authoritative source that sky are
getting rid of the ¡ê10 pcm HD charge soon.
Anyone know if there's anything to this?

fiver and five usa

My sis has sky but owes then ¡ê80 and because she hasn't paid them (can
afford to) they have reverted her card to freesat from sky.
Now what happens with this new card issue do they turn off the old
card losing ftv channels such as fiver and five usa.
Whats my options I'm assuming that they wont even issue her ...

on leaving sky does stb revert to freeview? or freesat?

has been a few days now and its still working?
what happens to the service, with VM it seems to revert to a
freeview box for free....

I purchased one of these gizmos and its working fine.
Is the Red LED on the RF cable "box" supposed to stay lit all the time ,even
when the Sky box is in standby ?

Using RF IN/OUT

I have a basic Sky box in room A with a TV. I also have a TV in room B with
a coaxial lead from room A but not connected to the Sky box.
If I want to watch the Sky progs on the room B TV is it possible to just
connect the cable to the RF Out of the Sky box in room A and do any menus
have to be adjusted to cat ...
